What is a mil?

A mil is a unit of measure that describes the thickness of a single sheet of wall covering (paper, vinyl or fabric). One mil is equal to one-thousandth of an inch. Therefore 6 mil is thicker than 5 mil.

While many manufacturers sell 2-3 mil wall coverings, we offer high quality products ranging from 5-9 mil for our Peel & Stick wall coverings and 10 mil for our Traditional Non-pasted wallpaper and Commercial Type II vinyl.

Traditional non-pasted paper

Heavy non-pasted latex-saturated paper, commonly chosen by professional wallpaper installers.

• Requires glue (not included) for a “paste the wall” application
• 10 mil thickness
• Textures: Linen or smooth
• Cleaning: Gently rub off everyday dirt or smudges with a dry soft cloth.
