Description
In his 1912 book “Concerning the Spiritual in Art,” Vasily Kandinsky explored the parallels between music and painting, highlighting how both can serve as forms of abstract expression. He believed that colors and lines could be liberated from their traditional roles. Between 1910 and 1914, Kandinsky created a series of works he called “improvisations,” characterized by their spontaneous and unconscious creation. Regarding his painting “Improvisation No. 30” (Cannons), Kandinsky explained that while the imagery might reflect the topic of the current World War I, the true essence lies in the emotions and experiences evoked in the viewer by the combination of forms and colors.
Jitterbug offers this bold painting by Kandinsky as a thought provoking and colorful wallpaper mural for those who want to add a powerful sense of color to their interior design project.
